CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING DIFFICULTIES!

22nd June

NASTIA FINISHED IN 2ND PLACE AT OLYMPIC TRIALS!
That gives Nastia an automatic spot on the Olympic Team!!!
Nastia started out on bars where on her full Ono to full Ono had a big break - nearly did not go over the bar and almost had to swing down. Full Ono with extra half with a leg separation. Caught her Pak salto on her stomach. She scored 16.150 Then on beam Nastia where she recovered nicely to score a 15.860. On floor Nastia stepped out of bounds on her third pass but still scored a 15.450 Lastly, on vault Nastia landed with her right leg totally locked straight. She still scored a 14.900
WELL DONE NASTIA!

Nastia is a four time World Champion, nine time World medalist, four time US National Champion and has won both 2 Pacific Alliance and 2 American Cup titles. In 2005 she was also named the Gymnast of the Year by the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame Look around the site to find out more about her :)
